Mass without a thurifer

When there is not a thurifer serving, all of the censings are omitted (of the altar, Gospel, homilist, etc).

This is the typical arrangement at the 8am and 9:30am Sunday masses and is called a sung mass.

The crucifer leads the Entrance Procession and the Gospel Procession.

At the Orate Fratres, the torch bearers exit to retrieve there torches just as if the thurifer were present.

The mitre bearer and crozier bearer, if acting as extra servers, can divide and stand/sit on the Gospel and Epistle sides, respectively, throughout mass.

The duties of all the other servers are otherwise unchanged.
