Large floor bell or gong that is used during the Liturgy of the Eucharist at the Sanctus, at the Pre-Consecration Epliclesis ("Vouchsafe.."), at the Consecration and at the Ecce Agnus Dei.

Not to be confused with the Sanctus hand bells, which are a set of smaller bells that are held and shaken.

The Sanctus bell is typically rung by the crucifer at Sunday masses.
