Parish tradition is to observe this on the first Sunday of May (usually)

The Proper of the mass remains that of the current Sunday in Eastertide/Whitsuntide

There is a Marian Procession to the Shrine following Mass

• Children present blessed flowers to Our Lady at the Shrine

• Selected First Communicant girl and boy carry flower crowns in procession

• Blessing of flowers and crowns to be presented at the Shrine

• At the Procession: Bring Flowers of the Rarest

• At the Conclusion: How Sweet Thou Art, My Mother
