A service of morning prayer, with the choir singing in the chancel.

Usually conducted  between the 9:30 and 11:15am masses at Our Lady of Walsingham.

In preparation, at the conclusion of the 9:30 mass, servers should douse the two mass candles on the altar.  Also, a music stand should be placed in the chancel next to the acolyte's seat in the sedilia.  It is a good practice to also place the mass leaflets for the 11:15 mass in the chancel before Matins begins to avoid a rush right before the 11:15 mass.

At the conclusion of Matins, a server should relight the two mass candles.
