Epiphany IV

Also known as: Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

In the liturgical calendar this is one of the regular Sundays in Epiphanytide. When the date of Easter is particularly early, this Sunday may be displaced by one of the Sundays in Pre-Lent.

The liturgical color is Green.

The setting of the mass is Willan. (need to confirm)

The Proper of the mass is at DWM pg. 208.

The Preface is the Preface of the Lord's Day (DWM pg.s 576-581) or, if before Feb. 2nd (Candlemas), the Preface of the Epiphany (DWM 586) may still be used.

The Last Gospel is said at the end of all masses (until Feb 2nd). The acolyte should stand up the framed copy of the Last Gospel, at the North end of the altar, during the dismissal. The celebrant reads the Last Gospel while the acolyte and deacon stand at the ends of the altar facing inward.. All servers stand for the Last Gospel, genuflecting at "and the Word was made Flesh"
