The psalm said or sung during the Liturgy of the Word. This occurs directly after the Lesson and before the Epistle.

At about the mid-point of the psalm, the torch bearers should discretely go to the vestry to prepare their processional candles for the Gospel Procession. Other servers remain seated in the choir stalls.
