A long white garment that the sacred ministers wear under there outer vestments (i.e., chasuble, dalmatic, tunicle). Worn over the amice and tied with a rope cincture.

If there is not a tunicle for the acolyte in the required liturgical color, the acolyte does not wear an alb, but rather vests in cassock and surplice.
